How do humans and the earth interact?

In Social Studies, we had to brainstorm how humans and the environment interact and influence each other.

Brainstorm
How do humans and the earth interact?
- The earth provide us water but we pollute it
- We cut down tress but the tress gives us oxygen
-  Killng animal's home
- We use Fossil Fuel and the earth produce acid rain
- We plant food and the ground grows it

Balloon Experiment

In Social Studies, we did an experiment about the Earth. We were given a balloon and we had to put air in or out to answer a question. The ballon represented the Earth so we can see how much pressure we put on it.

1) What happened to your Earth?
Our Earth went through ups and downs, but it stayed average in the end.

2) Why did this happen?
It’s because of some of our question answers were sustainable and some were not.

3) What could we do to stop that from happening? Or make it continue?
We could stop that from happening by making better decisions regarding sustainability.

4) What is one thing we could do to change our behaviour?

We could try to change our behaviour by saving electricity.
