Anti -Bullying Poster

In English, we've been working with our novel study. My task was to make an anti-bullying poster to raise awareness and to help people know what to do when they're bullied.

In English, we've been working on our Novel study and we needed to complete one of the creative tasks. My task was to find some words that I didn't know about and write their meanings. You can also make a crossword or a quiz to make it more fun. (I added the answer sheet in the bottom so you can check your work afterward)

  

Whare Tapa Wha

Whare Tapa Wha is about the 4 Wellbeing Values. They are Physical, Spiritual, Mental & Emotional and Social. This is useful to understand because this shows who we are and if we don't have one of them, we're not us; it's like we're not our selves. 

I contributed by helping my pair to make my Whare Tapa Wha. It was challenging when we didn't have time to finish it but we got through it. It was kinda hard to because we didn't personally know some of the Wellbeing Value.

Ping Pong Ball Experiment

The purpose of this blog post is to demonstrate the scientific method. This is part of the end of the topic assessment.

Aim: To measure how high the ball bounces depending on the height where you drop it from.

Hypothesis: The higher you drop the ball, the more it bounces.

Method: Step 1: Get all the equipment( ruler, ping pong ball, retort stand,)

               Step 2: Set it up

               Step 3: One person(a) should hold the ruler and drop the ball at the same time

               Step 4: The other person(b) should pay attention to the ball & ruler so they can measure the                     height.

               Step 5: The person(a) holding the ruler should drop the ping pong ball in three different.                         heights.

               Step 6: You should do 3 different kinds of trials to compare the heights.

               Step 7: Write your results in.

               Step 8: Add the three trials to get the average height.
               Step 9: Make your line graph and add the details in.

Discussion + Conclusion: The higher you drop the ball the higher it bounces because when it's at a higher level its more gonna speed up in the surface which causes the ball to fly up higher in the air.

Evaluation: I followed a method which helped me to finish my experiment and I don't think I need to improve anything.
