1. All teenagers have a specific role to play in their group. Describe the roles each teenager plays?

Homer is the leader of the group. He tells them what to do.
Ellie is also a leader and she makes sure everyone is safe.
Corrie hasn't really done much but she's supportive.
Lee had been injured but he gives out great suggestions when they ran out of ideas. Robyn's role is a medic and she sees things in a good way.
Fi is a language translator.
Kevin is a short-tempered person but he motivates and helps out.

2. According to what the teenagers hear on Corrie's radio, why would America be best not to get involved in Australia’s struggle?

- America would find itself in the longest, costliest, and bloodiest war in history if they ever try to intervene.

3. Why is Australia being invaded?

- According to the book, Australia was invaded because of the 'reducing imbalances within the region.' I think it's about not sharing resources equally with other countries.

4. A reader can infer many things from the snippet of news heard over Corrie’s radio. Which country or countries are likely to have invaded Australia?

- I think its a country that lacks resources that's why they invaded Australia in the first place. Well, it might be Taiwan because it was mentioned in the story. But I don't think they did just because they heard a voice that was speaking Taiwanese the radio.

5. How are the prisoners being treated?

- The prisoners are held in humanitarian conditions which means they are treated well by the soldiers.

6. What do Kevin and Robyn argue about? Do you think Robyn’s points are fair?
- They were arguing about the invaders. I think Robyn's point is fair because she understands the perspective of the invaders and why they're doing it. But Kevin's hatred against them made him disagree with Robyn's opinion. 

7. “Paradise of Hell” is an oxymoron. What does it mean?

- A place like Hell can also be a paradise.

8. Kevin’s hatred of the invaders is quite extreme. Why do you think he is so angry?

- He thinks it not fair letting people walk in and take everything they want. It is also affecting his relationship with Robyn.

9. The group take turns discussing the extent to which they’d go to make a difference. Order the characters by their commitment to overthrowing the enemy?:

- Half of them are going to the showground to find some information. The other half is staying to get more supplies and finding new hiding places.
