- According to the book, Australia was invaded because of the 'reducing imbalances within the region.' I think it's about not sharing resources equally with other countries.

- I think its a country that lacks resources that's why they invaded Australia in the first place. Well, it might be Taiwan because it was mentioned in the story. But I don't think they did just because they heard a voice that was speaking Taiwanese the radio.

- The prisoners are held in humanitarian conditions which means they are treated well by the soldiers.

- They were arguing about the invaders. I think Robyn's point is fair because she understands the perspective of the invaders and why they're doing it. But Kevin's hatred against them made him disagree with Robyn's opinion.
