Film Study ll Character Strengths

Task: Identify 2-3 of these character strengths in Coraline and one other character of your choice.



Cat
The cat has shown teamwork when he decided to help Coraline to rescue her parents and the ghost children from the other world. This an important character strength because if you never learn to work as a team, you won't be able to learn how to support each other and how to rely on them. The cat has also shown perseverance when he went to the other world knowing that he had a chance of getting trapped in there with Coraline.

Coraline has shown 2 types of character strengths. One is bravery and the other is hope.
She has shown Bravery when she went back to the other world to save her parents and the ghost children. Bravery is important because if you keep being weak, everything is gonna take advantage around you. Another value that she has shown in the text is hope. Even though she had to do everything herself, she still didn't give up. Hope is another important value because if you keep giving up in life, you will not achieve what you want in your future.
